Day 01: ... / Lima
Welcome to Peru! Arrival to Lima’s International Airport. Reception and transfer to the selected hotel. Check in and overnight.

Day 02: Lima - Huaraz
After breakfast, we will start our trip to Huaraz, you will have the first stop in Huaura, this is the place where the Don José de San Martin declared the Independence of Peru, on 28th July 1821, you will see the balcony that he used to do this proclamation. Then we will continue the journey till Paramonga, which is a famous mud Fortress with hundreds of years and was a high viewpoint of an ancient empire. You will continue to Huaraz, arrival, assistance with the check in and overnight.

Day 03: Huaraz / Callejon de Huaylas
Breakfast. Early departure from Huaraz. You will go through the Valley of the Santa River, which is between the white and the black mountain chain, and where you will see some interesting and nice small towns such as: Carhuas, Mancos and Yungay, You will also have the opportunity to see the Huascaran (6,768 masl), Huandoy (6,356) and Hualcan (6,162). From Yungay we will go up till Llanganuco to appreciate the beautiful Lakes of Chinacocha and Orcocha. Return to Huaraz and overnight.

Day 04: Huaraz / Huari
After breakfast, you will start an amazing route, going from huaraz till Carhuaz and the turning to the Huascaran and continue to Chacas, then to San Luis, arriving in Huari where you will stop and overnight in a Camping.

Day 05: Huari / Chavín de Huantar
After breakfast, we continue our trip to Chavín de Huantar, an archaeological site, where one of the biggest and most important cultures of the ancient Peru was developed. Overnight in Conchucos Tambo.

Day 06: Chavin de Huantar / Trujillo
After breakfast, you will depart leaving the highland to the coast, the first stop will be in Sechin. As in all our journey, here you will appreciate another archaeological place, too. Here you will find a big engraved wall with warriors, mutilated enemy soldiers. This fortress was built in 750 b.c. by the Sechin culture. We continue our journey to Trujillo arriving late in the evening. Check in and overnight.

Day 07: Trujillo
Breakfast. Visit the nearby Temples of the Sun and Moon. Built by the Moche culture around 500 AD. These 130-feet tall pyramids are thought to be the largest adobe structures in the Americas. The tour continues to the huge Chimu city complex of Chan Chan. In pre-Inca times this was the largest city in the Americas and was the same size as contemporary London - it originally covered over 20 square kilometres and had an estimated population of over 100,000 people. Concluding the guided tours we head out to the nearby beach resort of Huanchaco where you can enjoy the local seafood (not included) and also spend a relaxing afternoon at the seaside. Transfer to the hotel and overnight.

Day 08: Trujillo / Chiclayo
After breakfast, today we will depart to Chiclayo in a 4x4. On the way visit of the Brujo archaeological complex. In this site the Lady of Cao was discovered. Arrival to Chiclayo and Visit The Real Tombs Museums, here yo can see all the objects which were found in the tomb of Sipan. After lunch, we will visit Huaca Rajada where the Lord of Sipan was discovered. Overnight.

Day 09: Chiclayo
After breakfast, full day excursion to Lambayeque where you will visit the Tucume Pyramids and its local museum. We then continue our excursion 36 kms east of Chiclayo to Pomac National Reserve, known as a sacred religious site of the Sican culture. Concluding the tour we head back to the hotel in Chiclayo and overnight.

Day 10: Chiclayo /Cajamarca
After breakfast, After breakfast, at fixed time you will leave Chiclayo in a 4x4 to the city of Cajamarca. After 6-hour drive, you will arrive to this beautiful city. Check in at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 11: Cajamarca
After breakfast, guided tour around the city of Cajamarca, where you will visit the Main Square, Cathedral, catacombs, Museum of San Francisco, Chapel of la Dolorosa, Colonial Hospitals, Belen Museum, Rescue Room, (room in which the Inca “Atahualpa” filled with gold and silver to pay for his life) and Santa Apolonia hill. Return to the hotel and free time at your leisure. Overnight.

Day 12: Cajamarca / Chachapoyas
Early in the morning, departure in a 4x4 to the city of Chachapoyas. Taking the route to Celendin, driving over the Marañon Canyon, one of the most beautiful and deepest in South America. Here you can see a variety of microclimates as well as the contrast of its geography. You will go down from 3065 m.a.s.l to 700 m.a.s.l where the small town of Balsas is located and continue again up until reaching Leymebamba at 2150 m.a.s.l. In the afternoon, guided visit throughout the Mallqui Museum, where you can see more than 200 mummies, which were found facing towards the Condors lake. Arrival in Tingo and check in at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 13: Chachapoyas / Kuelap
Breakfast, Today we will depart to visit Kuelap, a spectacular pre-Inca City, hidden at the top of a mountain. Although Kuelap was discovered 60 years before Machu Picchu, it is not really well-known to the outside world. But because of recent and amazing discoveries in nearby areas which relate to Kuelap and to its history, it has captured the attention of archaeologists and International magazines as well as film companies. After box lunch we continue the guided tour of Kuelap. Return to Chachapoyas arriving late in the evening at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 14: Chachapoyas/ Karajía
After breakfast, we begin our excursion in 4x4 to the small city of Cruzpata. From here on we start the trekking. After 30 minutes aprox. we arrive at the Sarcophagus of Karajía, which is 2.50m high. Approximately. Afterwards a short visit to the Sarcophagus of Ayachaqui, located north of the small city of Lamud. Concluding the day we leave in a 4x4 back to Chachapoyas. Arrival to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 15: Chachapoyas / Chiclayo
After breakfast, Depart to Chiclayo. On the way you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes. After 6 hours you will arrive in Chiclayo. Overnight.

Day 16: Chiclayo / Lima
Breakfast. Today we will return to Lima. Arrival and Overnight.

Day 17: Lima / out
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the international flight.
