1-st Day: ... / LIMA

Welcome to Peru!
Upon arrival in Lima, reception at Lima’s Jorge Chavez airport. you will be received by a Domiruth Travel Service person and transferred to the hotel, located in the residential district of Miraflores. Check inn. Overnight. Free day for personal activities.

2-nd Day: LIMA / PARACAS
Breakfast.
It will take you 03 hours to travel into the past XVI century. You will have a panoramic visit to colonial Lima enchantments as the Main Square located up today in the same area assigned by Francisco Pizarro, founder of Lima in 1535, the Cathedral, the Government Palace, we recommend you to attend the change of guard (daily at 11:45), the San Francisco Monastery, with its beautiful cloister and entrance, as well as the underground galleries or catacombs which were used as cemeteries during the Colony Period, we will appreciate then the Huaca Puclana, which was considered as a pre-Inca worshipping ceremonial center.

Then you will travel back to the XXI century visiting modern districts with beautiful squares, small squares and avenues, as well as Miraflores with its beautiful beaches, intensive commercial trading and active nightlife. You will visit the Love Park; it has a big sculpture representing a ¨Couple of Andean lovers¨ facing the Pacific Ocean. End of our excursion.
Departure (around 03:00 hrs) to the beautiful Paracas resort in regular bus. Paracas is located 245 Kms away from Lima. Arrival and transfer to selected hotel. Overnight.

3-rd Day: PARACAS / ICA / LIMA
Breakfast.
Being at the Harbour, at 08:00 hrs a.m., we will reach the wharf where we will board comfortable motorboats specially conditioned for the Ballestas Island’s journey. On the way it is possible to appreciate the famous Candlestick that is considered as the origins of Nazca lines, rocky formations that are the lodging from an important marine fauna like Guaneras birds as the guanay, piquero, zarcillo among others, as well as some Peruvian Penguins in danger of extinction. We will also see several of the two sea lion species (the big ones and the small ones) among other local fauna.
At 10:00 hrs a.m. after a short rest, we start our approximately one hour journey to Ica.
Then we will return to the aerodrome to begin our fly over the enigmatic Nazca Lines, mysterious marks on the sand spreaded over a 350-km2 area. These lines show several animals and plants like the spider, the monkey, the dog, the lizard, the humming bird, the condor and so on, in dimensions that range 15 to 300 meters each one and 30 centimeter deep approximately.
This journey takes 2 hours approximately, then we go back to Las Dunas Resort Hotel to lunch here and enjoy the place.
Return to Lima City at fixed time. Arrival and transfer to selected hotel. Overnight.

4-th Day: LIMA / CUZCO
Breakfast
Transfer to the Lima airport to board your flight to Cusco. Lodging
Free morning to get acclimatized to the 3 360 m.a.s.l.
In the afternoon, we suggest you to take some of the optional excursions that DOMIRUTH TRAVEL SERVICE offers in Cusco: City Tour and surrounding ruins, cycling or Horseback riding, river rafting…
 

5-th Day: CUZCO
Breakfast .
In the afternoon, City Tour in Cusco walking through the Cathedral which its exterior and interior frontage were made in renacentist style. Inside, you will find beautiful cedar wood statues, like the chorus and the Pulpit, as well as the paintings of the Cusco Art School, and some objects made on silver. You will also visit the Qorikancha or Sun Temple; which nowadays is the Santo Domingo Church. Then you will go to the four surrounding ruins: The Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q´enqo, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay. Arrival to selected hotel. Overnight.

6-th Day: CUSCO/ PISAC MARKET AND OLLANTAYTAMBO
Breakfast.
Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will visit the typical handicraft Market of Pisac Town (opened only Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) where you can buy Peruvian handicraft at the best prices. On Sundays a Quechua Mass is attended by the Varayoc or Indian leader. Includes lunch. You will also visit the Ollantaytambo Archeological Park where you will admire its Main Temple. Located 97 kms from Cusco. Lodging in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

7-th Day: OLLANTA / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
Breakfast.
Transfer from the hotel to Ollanta where the full day excursion to Machupicchu archeological complex begins, located in a subtropical Cusco area at 2 350 m.a.s.l.
You will visit the marvelous Machupicchu Citadel where you will walk trough its squares, temples, terraces, worship centers and its Royal Palace. You will also visit the “Intiwatana” or Solar Clock and several beautiful natural water fountains carved on rock. Includes lunch. In the afternoon return to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

8-th Day: CUZCO / LIMA
Breakfast.
Transfer from your hotel to the airport to board your flight to Lima. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Free morning for personal activities.

9-th Day: LIMA / …
Breakfast. You will be transferred to the airport on time to board your Domestic or International flight.

End of services.
