Daily Departures / Minimum 02 Travelers                                                         FROM LIMA

Day 01.- Lima – Huaráz.- Transfer to the bus station and departure in Pullman bus with regular service to Huaráz. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 02.- Huaráz – Lake Llanganuco – Callejón de Huaylas.- Breakfast. Bus departs for Callejón de Huaylas. On route, we’ll enjoy the site of beautiful, unique Andean towns. Among them is Yungay, a town buried by an earthquake-provoked avalanche in 1970. We´ll visit the breathtaking Lake Llangunauco that sits at 3,850 meters. Afterward we’ll stop in the city of Caráz. Lunch. Return to Huaráz for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03.- Huaráz – Chavin de Huantar.- Breakfast. Bus departs to visit the famous Temple of Chavín de Huanta, a temple whose exact origins remain unknown. We´ll admire the impressive Lanzón, the galleries and labyrinths, the nailed heads, etc. Lunch. On the way back, we’ll take in views of the mining towns, Lake Querococha and Cahuish Tunnel that is situated at an altitude of 4,178 meters. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04.- Huaráz – Lima.- Breakfast. Brief visit through the city with a stop at the Monterrey hot springs. At the appointed time, transfer to the bus station for return trip to Lima or travel to Trujillo, etc. according to itinerary.
